1. Introduction
These Terms of Booking govern the reservation and use of all spaces at The Buty House, operated by the Preeti Buty Foundation, Fortune Mall, Munje Chowk, Sitabuldi, Nagpur – 440 012. By making a booking, you agree to these terms in full.
2. Booking & Confirmation
- Reservations at The Buty House are confirmed upon receipt of a 100% booking advance.
- All bookings are considered exclusive and are non-transferable unless approved by management.
- Enquiries submitted through the website or WhatsApp start the conversation but do not themselves constitute a confirmed booking.
3. Usage & Timings
- The venue is to be used strictly within the agreed time schedule.
- Any extension will be subject to availability and additional charges.
- Setup and dismantling must be planned within the booked duration unless pre-arranged.
4. Security Deposit
- A refundable security deposit of 30% of the booking amount is required to safeguard the property and its curated interiors.
- Any damage to the space, artworks, furniture, or fixtures will be adjusted against this deposit.
- The balance, if any, will be refunded post-event after inspection.
5. Intended Use of Space
- The Buty House is a refined, multi-purpose cultural space; usage must align with the nature declared at the time of booking.
- Activities that are unlawful, disruptive, or not in keeping with the ethos of the space are strictly prohibited.
- Management reserves the right to discontinue any event that compromises the integrity of the venue.
6. Capacity & Safety
- Guest count must remain within the approved capacity at all times.
- Safety norms, including fire and emergency protocols, must be adhered to without exception.
- Emergency access points and installations must remain unobstructed.
7. Catering & Collaborators
- Preferred partners and vendors may be recommended to maintain the quality standards of The Buty House.
- External vendors require prior approval from management.
- The venue does not assume responsibility for third-party services.
8. Décor & Installations
- All décor must be non-invasive and respectful of the architecture and finishes.
- Nailing, drilling, taping, or alteration of surfaces is not permitted without explicit approval.
- All installations must be dismantled immediately post-event.
9. Sound & Conduct
- Events must adhere to permissible sound levels and local regulations.
- Loud music or amplified sound may be restricted beyond designated hours.
- Guests are expected to maintain decorum befitting the space.
10. Liability & Responsibility
- The Buty House shall not be liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings or equipment.
- The host is responsible for the conduct of all attendees and compliance with applicable regulations and permits.
11. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- All cancellations must be communicated in writing.
- Advances are non-refundable.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability and management approval.
12. Damages & Restoration
- The venue must be returned in its original condition.
- Any damage or requirement for restoration, cleaning, or repairs will be charged accordingly.
13. Parking & Access
- A paid parking facility is available.
- The Buty House holds no liability for vehicles or belongings within parking areas.
14. Force Majeure
The management shall not be held liable for disruptions or cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances including natural events, regulatory restrictions, or emergencies.
15. Management Discretion
- The Buty House reserves the right to decline or cancel bookings that do not align with its standards or positioning.
- These Terms may be updated periodically without prior notice.
16. Authorization & Consent
By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Booking; that you agree to the rental amount of the designated event space; that you accept all terms in this agreement; and that you are authorized to sign on behalf of the booking party.
17. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maharashtra, India. Any disputes arising from a booking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
